I think it's charted perfectly. Just because it's hard doesn't mean it's overcharted. Was Psychobilly Freakout overcharted in your opinion? How about Cowboys From Hell? Just curious. I don't think either of those were overcharted either, but with the loose way people define overcharting I wouldn't be surprised if others think they are as well.

Cliffs of Dover always felt like it was going too far to me. The full hand stretch HOPOs just seemed unnecessary... maybe I'll learn to play it on guitar, just to make sure

I never said you won't get songs from GH in RB, I'm saying it was asked for the song to PREMIER in Rock Band, which to me means, the first time it has ever been in a rhythm based game, but since it already PREMIERED in GH it can't possible, no matter how hard you try, premier in another game.

That said, it will never make it to RB because what's the point? It's a guitar song, with boring drums and bass and no vocals, why would anyone in their right mind want it in rock band? Just play GH with your strat.

If I was going to ask for any song that is on GH3 to appear on RB, I'd go for Steve Ouimette's - The Devil Went Down to Georgia. it is by far the best cover I've heard in a long time and it would suit RB perfectly.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to side with the "No TDWDTG" crowd. I realize that you wouldn't have to fight Lou while playing, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a cluster**** of a song on guitar. I think I'd rather try to FC Raining Blood than play TDWDTG again.

Rock You Like a Hurricane (certainly would be a crowd pleaser)
Cult of Personality
Even Flow
FCPREMIX (although I imagine the drums being a PITA on this one)

But damn Cliffs of Dover. that song is the ONLY reason I have yet to sell my GH3. Its so much fun. And I dont know how you say its over charted. The whole Song is charted very well, and just because it has 2 5 section paths of hammer on reaching (that damn orange button:P) doesnt make the whole song over charted. I mean I know that We all like Rock Band better, and are kinda mad that Activision has ripped the soul out of our once favorite series, but GH isnt a terrible game and does not deserve alot the hate it gets on this forum.

And I second that HMX should make all the songs from GH1 2 and 80s as DLC. Maybe 30 or 40 bucks per game as DLC (bonus songs too please!):P Those games had a ton of songs id love to go back and play, and some of those GH1 songs i cant even go back and play on my ps2 due to terrible HOPO detection.

I think it's TAC that sells the controller to play your strat with Guitar Hero, can't really remember, it's just a gaggle of wires that they've crammed into a box, just google it, I found it about two weeks ago while looking for the guts to a strat to custom build a guitar.

You can download a good amount of gh1 songs for gh2 on the 360. i tried playing gh1 the other day on my ps2, but with no way to fix the lag, i had to quit

Actually Cliffs of Dover is about the only song in the game that I felt wasn't overcharted. In fact it's one of the few challenging songs that I find easier to play in the game than on guitar.... Green Grass, Molly Hatchet, Metallica, Iron Maiden etc... all that stuff is way easier on a real guitar for me, especially the solos. But Cliffs is a royal pain, there are some absolutely bizzare fingerings and shifts going on in that song. It's one of those songs that's way harder than it sounds.

But I'd love to see some instrumental stuff start appearing. Screw the vocalists (sorry guys, but you don't have to download it!) Or just maybe add a mic tapping part in to keep them occupied, some tamborine, or maybe a little conga drum dubbed in.

The game was made for a bassist, a guitarist, a drummer, and... oh, right... a vocalist. How about we get an acoustic song and go without drums and bass? I suggest "Screaming Infidelities" by Dashboard Confessional. But that won't happen, as much as I want it to.
