PS3 + USB + Devices?

Hi All-
I looked around, but I couldn't find an answer to my particular problem -

Long story shorter -
PS3 40 GIG (yes, I know, the "cheap" one).
Bought a USB 2.0 (powered) Hub -
Plugged in a Gutar from Guitar Hero III, doesn't recognize it.
Only the Fender and the Mic are recognized.
Mic is on it's own USB from the Console, the Fender + Gibson are on the Hub.
The Hub sees the Gibson as being bound to the Mic.

Anyone had this problem? If so, how do I fix it?

Did you really search first before asking or just take the easy way out and post in here? I know you said you looked but it couldn't have been very well, there are thousands of posts/sites/questions/threads all over the internet detailing this exact same problem.
