Hardest Song To 5 Star (expert guitar)

for me its gotta be Run to the Hills.
ive 5 starred GGaHT, Flirtin' With Disaster, Train Kept-A-Rollin', and i even gold starred Highway Star, but i just cant do RttH.
same with Ballroom Blitz, and Dead on Arrival

i cud 5 star every song on expert if it werent for those 3

Run to the hills for sure. Only song I sometimes 5 star by a bit, or by a good amount.

RttH is the only non-DLC song I've yet to 5-star

The other 4 star songs I have are:

*March the Pigs (I just need to nail 2 chord changes and I've got it)
*Blackened - Probably the hardest period
*Ride the Lightning
*Smokin' - Goddamn organ solos
*Blinded by Fear - I can hit everything but the fast GR sections.

I've 5 starred all non DLC, and Run To The Hills was the LAST one I was able to do so on. However, the Thrash pack has given me new perspective on how to strum the repeated triple chords and it actually made it easier to do.

Flirtin' With Disaster
I'm too lazy to really tackle this one... but for some reason or another, I can't keep a combo for the life of me. It makes me feel dumb. I think I'm about 10k shy of 05 stars.
Green Grass & High Tides
I play this one from time to time -- some days I can shred through the HO/POs, some days I fumble. My best run is 04 stars with a fifth that looks like it's entirely filled... but alas. I'll get it one of these days.

I'm inconsistent with the chorus [with the quick strums, PO, quick strums]. Sometimes I keep a 04/08x combo through it, other times I don't. I'm so close to getting it... it'll just come down to practice.


For the longest time I couldn't 05* Number of the Beast. No clue why. I scraped away 05*'s on Smokin'... for me, personally, that was a bit tricky. Oh, and Run to the Hills was cutting it pretty close, too... I'm horrible at the rhythm on that one.

Not to brag, but aside from those, just about everything else in the game was fairly easy to five-star after at least 02-03 attempts.
