I can barely do the 3rd set on Hard Drums.
BUT, I can beat Enter Sandman on Expert Drums 4 starring it.
I think it might have to do with me listening to Metallica so much I just knew when to hit the bass pedal. I'm pretty proud of myself though. I could barely do hard and I passed one of the harder ones on Expert.
Shoulda took a damn picture...I could probably do it again though.
Anyone else have weird accomplishments like this?

Nah, I did the same thing, but 5-starring it with 98%.
It's just ridiculously easy. I couldn't beat hard drums but my cousin told me to try Enter Sandman on expert and I got 98%. It is really easy.

Same way with guitar. Enter Sandman is terribly easy.

I can do ...And Justice for All and Enter Sandman on Hard, but not Ride the Lightning :P
There's some songs in lower tiers than those 2 songs that I can't finish on hard.
When they release Metallica - Fuel, I'll be able to do the vocals with my eyes closed :P

I wonder why the hell it's under Blistering songs then, haha.

I agree...I was stuck forever on DOA now on Don't Fear The Reaper. But I gold starred Enter Sandman a while back... I think it's a bit easier for me.

I think a lot of it has to do with what "kind" of song it is. Like I can beat GG&HT on Expert Drums, but i can't get to it in Career mode because I'm stuck on the set around Dead On Arrival.

Yeah, Enter Sandman is way too highly ranked. I can consistently get 98% or over on it on expert drums, yet I am capped at 4 stars on Dead on Arrival and Detroit Rock City, both of which are supposedly one tier easier. And I still have to rely on luck to get me through the intro to Foreplay/Longtime.
Makes you wonder if Lars threatened to pull further DLC if Harmonix didn't boost his ego a bit.

Enter Sandman is about 3+ tiers above what it should be on drums. I'm sure they ranked it so highly because of the "drum solo" parts that just take a couple playthroughs to get down, but it's still incredibly easy to FC once you learn those parts.

I've FCed it! But yea there have been a couple of jokes saying that Metallical DLC can be no lower than the Blistering tier!
On the Lars comment though, try the rest of the metallica songs and they don't compare to the easy difficulty that was Enter Sandman. I really doubt he needs to boost his ego.

Yeah I'm just kidding about that.... I really shouldn't make fun of the guy when the first 30 seconds of Blackened continues to bend me over.... :)

Enter Sandman is pretty easy on drums, though for its lack of difficulty comes.... Its awesome sounding beats!!! The ending though does get pretty tricky. I failed it on medium when I first started playing (shuddup) yet now on expert it never make me go down the half way mark.
Btw, I wouldn't say anything negative about Lars, his drumming, or his skills as a drummer. When you can FC Blackened or RTL on expert drums you can talk >.>

I honestly think that Enter Sandman is ranked where it is (on drums) because when people are first playing on medium it can really throw them for a loop. Just watch most "new" drummers attempt it.. you'd think hitting the pedal every quarter note would come more easily.
Relative to other songs on Hard/Expert it doesn't stand up.. but it's definitely later-tier for the medium players (I don't know what it's like on easy).
