ok seriously this forum is so rediculous im getting bashed for my opinions others the same is there somthing wrong here you guys(some of you ) need anger management. i mean come on this is so rediculous everyone picking current bands like mcr or tool pick stuff like .....like tom petty or george thurgood or a realy good megadeth song or dio or europe for all i care you could pick a band thats local in your town. i dont care forget my other posts JUST PLAY NICE KIDS LIKE SERIOUSLY BE COOL WITH EACH OTHER IM NOT A HIPPIE( i hate hippies) BUT JUST STOP HATEING AND MELLOW OUT GUYS

yeah i know..but be greatful....if you want to REALLY apriciate this board a WHOLE LOT...go to the gamefaqs boards...make an account..and post there for about a week...when you come back..this place will be heaven on earth...i just came back today...i cant express my gratitude

A lot of it has to do with the tone set by the OP. If someone starts a thread with "[band name] SUCKS!!" or starts out saying that other people's ideas are stupid, then readers are going to be more likely to go on the defensive and say something bad in return.

I think some people do get bashed without really deserving it (threads about Metal or anything close to being emo mostly). But if you make a polite and well thought out suggestion you'll typically get good feedback.

Oh, and also make sure you search for threads with a subject similar you yours before making a new one. That really pisses people off.

also, people get bashed for not speaking english, like you normally do.

by the way, i picked almost all new stuff and none of it contained a band like mcr or fall out boy. and even though tool just released an album recently they're more of a 90's band(much like smashing pumpkins).

gonna somewhat disagree with you on tool. while they did release a majority of their stuff prior to 2000, i'd say they're more famous for the lateralus album which was released in 2001 or so.
