yeah its a cover. But yeah different vocals tend to be easier and harder for others. I can romp through bowie no problem but meanwhile the low pitch verse in Nirvana kills me....

as far as bowie being an alien is concerned im pretty sure you weren't supposed to let that one out, I hope you're somewhere safe, lock your doors and hide under your bed when you see a bunch of guys in black suits and sunglasses at your door. (p.s. if they say to look at a little light DON"T DO IT!)

And the Thin White Duke strikes again...

Personally, I don't have much of a problem with the vocals of the Goblin King himself (Reptilia and Maps are my nemeses, one for being quasi-atonal and the other for being in a weird part of my range), but yeah... Bowie songs aren't especially easy to sing.

And yet for me, Reptillia is relatively easy. It certainly has something to do with range. I don't have the range I did when I was a little younger - a couple of years of acid reflux did some damage to the top portion. I'm allright for most things that aren't too "screechy" though.

As for Bowie, he just sounds like he is in pain or something. Maybe I'll have someone punch me in the gut between phrases and see if that works.

Give one point to The Thin White Starman. :)

Bowie's songs are amazing, and his register is lower than most singers. At least they don't have "China Girl" as DLC yet. That changes from a "normal" range to a deep range many times.

Best advice I can give is to practice the hell out of a song you can't beat vocally. You could sing it higher even, as long as it is on pitch.

I am like the opposite I can do In Bloom on Hard 100% but a song like Heroes is like murder to do for me
