The new PSN Design! No new DLC for 2 weeks!!

Sony has finally revealed it's new PlayStation Network Design. And it looks awesome - too bad I almost never download anything from the PSN Store.

The new design will be online in about two weeks! But Sony also has some bad news. Until that day, there won't be any new downloadable content on the PSN Store. - BUT at the moment, that's only the case in the European store.

There is not official statement from SCEA at the moment. But if Sony America does the same thing, you know what that means - No new Rockband songs for PS3 gamers in the next two weeks. :eek:
Well, I hope for all of you PS3 gamers that that's not the case.

Hmm... never thought about this. But since HMX would have to upload it on the PSN Store first anyway, I don't think it will pop up in the Ingame Store either.

I don't really see how a software update would keep them from posting new stuff for over 2 weeks. But anyway, I hope there's more to the overhaul than the new layout detailed in the screenshots. Maybe they're going to dump the wallet so you don't have to click OK 6 times to buy 3 songs.

Because they have to make major tests to make sure...

1. That when people pay for something that it actually DLs with the new code
2. When people DL something for free they don't get charged...


The store is getting a major overhaul. They aren't taking any chances.

Frankly, I could care less about the other updates the PS store gets, I'm talking about: game demos, wallpapers, themes, movie trailers or even games like Pain and such. And while not having DLC for Rockband for 2 weeks will be regretable, I think I'll live. The new store better be worth it though!!


Here's an interesting thought! Do you think they'll take away the five download rule?
