I did a search but was having trouble finding it.
I want to know what would be the easiest song for drums to get a gold star.
I have been trying "Say it Aint So" and can get to 97,750 at 99% so I think I am getting close to a gold star but is maybe there an easier song be it DLC or Bonus to get my first one?

i haven't tried it myself, but my friends say 29 Fingers by The Konks is pretty easy on Expert.

There's no doubt in my mind that "I Think I'm Paranoid" is the easiest. it's a steady beat with almost no surprises and the mild surprise is like a double snare hit.

Vocals was Blitzkrieg Bop for me
Drums (I think I'm paranoid...?)

without a doubt i think im paranoid is the easiest song to 100%. Same beat through the whole song and to make it easier dont use your overdrive at all and youll find you play alot less notes, including the double snare. If you dont know what im talking about, there is a double snare hit right before each chorus. If you dont use your overdrive, you only have to play that once in the whole song.
I should add that if you dont use your overdrive at all in the song, you wont get a gold star (because you play way less notes and your multiplier never goes above 4x obviously) but you will get a 100%, which unlocks the achievement.
Hope this helps.

I'm probably alone in this one, but Highway Star. It was the first song I gold star'd which I did the first time I played it. I also gold star it pretty much every time I play it. There's just so much star power in that song that it's hard for me not to. You don't even have to do all that well on the solo and you can still get gold stars fairly easily.

on guitar i'd say time we had was the easiest... or mississipi queen, or maps. maps was my first 100% on guitar.

I don't know how any song can be easier than 29 Fingers on drums. It's only the Red and Blue pad on expert the whole way through the song.
For guitar, my first Gold Star/FC was Mississippi Queen but Maps is probably easier.

According to the forums at Scorehero.com in order to gold star "Say It Ain't So" you need to score somewhere around 111,525 points. http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2196
My first gold star on drums was on either "Say It Ain't So" or "I Think I'm Paranoid" I can't remember.

I'm going to mention "Gimme Shelter". I have a hard time not 100%-ing that on guitar and I've gold starred it on drums as well.

Yeah, what he said. "I Think I'm Paranoid" was the first song I've ever played on expert drums, and I gold starred it on my 3rd or 4th try. :D
the easiest 3 songs for drums are: I think I'm paranoid, Brass in Pocket, and Live Forever. Next would be say it ain't so and creep. Creep has one somewhat tough part in the middle but I totally botched it and still got a gold (of course you have to get the rest of the song pretty much perfect)
I think 29 fingers is actually tougher than all these...unless you are just terrible with the bass pedal and/or especially good at rolls.

Agreed, then add in Buddy Holly and the Rolling Stones tune.

The easiest song to Gold star, for me, was Brass in Pockets. I Gold Starred it my first run through, sight read. I am a hard player, too, but I thought I'd try it on expert because it was so easy on hard.

29 fingers is easy cause there is not kick pedal to use (no orange), its just blue and red
Gimme Shelter for Guitar. I don't think I've ever not GS'd it.

Vocal? If you can make it through the scream in "Should I Stay", you're golden.

I think I'm Paranoid is by far the most simple
One thing though...even though I think I'm paranoid is probably the easiest song, you have to pretty much be perfect to get a gold. I can remember messing up only once in the middle (probably missed 2 notes right next to each other) and did not get gold. And when you play through perfectly you get the gold only a few bars before the end.
All that being said I still think its the easiest (on drums).
For vocals its weird because everyone seems to have certain songs they are good at and it varies. In my opinion though it would be Blitzkrieg bop because I got a 100% the very first time through it on expert so it can't be that hard.

29 fingers
All they've got is cheap guitars, a vox, and two lousy drums

I Think I'm Paranoid is very steady throughout. One of the few songs I've actaully got 100% on. Say it Aint so is not bad either. I haven't played that much DLC on expert yet and who knows which ones the OP has. As far as 29 Fingers goes, it's pretty simple with just 2 notes throughout however it does have a few changes that could throw you off and blow the GS. If you can tap your foot to the beat, go with ITIP.

My first gold stars on guitar were on "Time we Had". I haven't gone gold on any of the tier 1 songs, and have gold stars on the entire 2nd and 3rd tier.

Gimme Shelter and Welcome Home are the ones I found the most fun to Gold Star.
Do not do Blitzkreig Bop or Go With the Flow.
Wave of Mutilation and Orange Crush were my first try.

Say It Aint So and Creep were both very easy.
The key is to, obviously, not miss notes (and if you do miss do it at the beginning or end of the song) and to use your overdrives as soon as you activate them.

El Scorcho with guitar by far the easiest.

Creep is a nightmare, seriously, the bridge is horrible to 100% I got Gold Stars on Joker and the Thief, and I can't get Creep. On guitar*
*Edit: You must mean on drums.
