I hate the Gabbly chat.

This thing sucks. I have refreshed it atleast 20 times, still wont let me get in. Looked on the forums, looks like lots of people are having the same issue, but no official word from the actual people who run gabbly, just a bunch of kids griping about it (like I am now?). But i wish this worked :/ It either sits on the loading screen, or it'll show the people in the chat but it wont put me in the chat.

:( everythings always my fault! :P It hasnt worked so far over the last 6 hours, keep hitting refresh, opening a new window and opening it, tried going through a proxy server, nothing working :(

They've been discussing this problem on the Gabbly forums since 2006 so I doubt there's going to be resolution any time soon. *sigh*

We could all get on MSN Messenger or something, haha. Not quite the same...

That still doesn't solve the at-work issue. If you set up IRC on your home machine, and then remote into your home machine from your work machine, that would work if you have port 3389 open.

Works fine for me. Has been for almost a week.

Only problem ive had with it recently is that it scrolls all the way up if anyone says anything.

I dont have internet at home, so downloading IRC at home would not really be possible. Thanks for the tip though :) The chatzy chat window will work for the time being I suppose. I got in today, I'm not hitting anything LOL No refresh, no closing out, zip. hah.
