ROLLING STONES: Let me get this straight: two songs by Garbage but only one Stones song? I need "Stray Cat Blues", but I'll settle for "Street Fighting Man".
WHITE STRIPES: Yes, I know, there's no bass. However, a few years ago the guy from Red Kross had this side project thing where he recorded a bunch of bass tracks for White Stripes songs (I think it was called the Red and White Stripes). It's a long shot, but "Dead Leaves and Dirty Ground" or "Seven Nation Army" would be mad fun to play.
DINOSAUR JR: In the news section of this site, they have the gall to print an interview with J. Mascis, gushing with accolades of praise from the developers. So why haven't they licensed any Dino Jr tracks yet? "Start Choppin", "Get Me" or "Just like Heaven" (the BEST COVER SONG EVER) would be real nice, though I'm gonna have to progress beyond the hard setting to even begin to attempt these.
PRIMUS: Most of the tracks on Rock Band have bass as second fiddle. "Mr. Know It All" or "Jerry was a Race Car Driver" would be real cool.
PIXIES: Two words: MORE PIXIES. "Debaser", "River Euphrates" or the Spanish cover of the Yardbirds "Evil-hearted you".
