i unlocked all songs on the ps2 ver. i just bought a ps3 and bought the game is there any way i can bring over my unlocked songs to the ps3 verison or do i have to beat the game again??

There's no way to transfer that I can think of. You're going to have to unlock the songs again. Just play through on medium or something, should take about 5 hours and you can take as many breaks as you like.
