Screen stretched?

I discovered that the left and right edges are trimmed on my screen. i.e. song titles are missing the first letter, and the bar on the left - I can only see the instrument... not the bar itself.

I'm sure there's something I'm missing, but I feel like I've checked everywhere.

Please help....:(

Wide screen TV
PS3
Component cable -> output to 1080i.

That is your problem then. I have the same problem. The game's native resolution is 720p so the ps3 is upscaling. It throws the screen out a little bit. Nothing you can do unless your tv has screen adjustments or is capable of 720p.

Any way to prevent it from upscaling?
