Well first off, this a thread for fans of System, and I don't really want to receive a post that consists of "System of a Down Sucks!", or "Listen to real metal, like [insert metal band here].

I really want to see SOAD in this game, badly. I was listening to their songs and so many would be great for this game. The drums may be a little complicated at times, but who else wants to see System in Rock Band!?!?

But you are correct. I believe they would be a great addition to this game. And anyone who thinks a band isn't real "metal", real "punk", real "rap", etc. is just blowing off steam for bands they like.'

SOAD is not metal of course, but I still like them. Besides, who cares? We are people here right? People are more complicated than just bottled up in groups.

I do like em. Not a whole lot, I mean, I dont give a crap when their next album comes out. I like BYOB, awesome song. Toxicity album is great. I just like the lyrical force they bring to the table more than the music itself.

Well I appreciate the fact that you can actually explain why/why not you like them. Some people just go to forums to be dicks, because they can. That's why I made a thread for NON-haters to come. I am positive that name one band, there is going to be atleast 5 people that hate them on here, no matter how good they are. And yes, their lyrical force is just great! If you want to hear a more softer (in a way) side, listen to Serj's song "Unthinking Majority"

SoaD is decent. I'm not a fan of the generic shouty lyrics, but the guitar is good, and Rock Band could always use some more good drums.

The first time I heard Sugar. I was Like "Holy ****!! This is awesome!" My wife was like, "what the hell are you talking about? this sucks".. But as time went by I grew weary of them.. Didn't care much for that Double release Hypno/whatever stuff they did at all. SOAD is best taken in small doses, therefore not a great choice for a game which gets played over and over.

I do love their lyrics. Better than just being another "hardcore" band whining about their girlfriends breaking their playstation, so they have to cry and want to kill theselves over not being free to do what they want without being ***** whipped.

Like half of SOAD's songs are about the Armenian genocide. Being Armenian (though I really dont look it, I guess living in Canada turned me into a white boy), I have to say that yeah, alot of the songs actually do make sense.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I think Hypnotize even would be fun. You have so many different rhythms and feels in one song, and I just think it'd be fun. Maybe I'm the only one, but I think it'd be nice. Toxicity of course though.
