question about bass

Okay, i realize this may seem pretty stupid..but i've been playing as the guitar, and i've been wondering, how in the world do i get to play as bass? Do i have to create another character or something? If you could please let me know i'd appreciate it! Thanks!

I thought they gave you the option between guitar/bass before the show or is that only multiplayer???

There is no bass solo career. If you want to play as bass you have to do quickplay, and just select bass when you get to the guitar / bass screen.
