In my mind, there is no rock like Classic Rock...and an amazing sub genre of this admittidly crowded genre of "Classic" Rock... is Southern Rock

The Marshall Tucker Band...Southern Rock at it's best.

Seriously if you guys haven't heard Toy Caldwell on guitar...

Tremendous solo on Ramblin' (aka. Ramblin On My Mind)

You can find a bunch of Marshall Tucker videos on youtube, including Ramblin'.

Another Southern Rock Band I'm sure not many people know is The Outlaws...they had a nice amount of hits in the 70s and are actually touring right now.

If you haven't heard Green Grass and High Tides either the 9:49 studio version or the 20:58 live version...than you are missing a tremendous piece of guitar work. It's...it's...wow. I mean that song as an encore would blow your mind! A few of their other hits are: There Goes Another Love Song, Hurry Sundown and Freeborn Man...all of which are very guitar heavy. And as for most Southern Rock bands, they sound better live!

I love Southern Rock and personally would love to see a lot of it in RB as DLC.

More Allman Brothers Band, definitly more Lynyrd Skynyrd...

Southern Rock is one of the most guitar heavy genres and would definitly rock in RB...just tremendous solos throughout, as well as just plain darn good songs period.

I mean I played the crap out of Jessica and Freebird in GH2...who hasn't??? So more!! MORE!! lol :D

I can't play GGHT on expert yet :( But I would really like to try "Ghost Riders in the Sky" by the Outlaws.
