That is good to hear, so at least they will stay as true to the song as they can... You could have made all this podcast info into one thread easily.

Very misleading title! Your title says it will be in, but your statement reflects otherwise.

He would like to and are is a whole different ball game.

Ibanez, did you listen to the podcast? Alex said he won't do radio edits for the DLC. I don't think the thread title was misleading at all.

You've motivated me to listen to this podcast. I haven't heard it yet, I've only read what's in this forum.

If this is true, this is some great news! ... Thank you Harmonix!!! At least they are giving us a choice, and not forcing us to listen to/play god awful, edited or cover versions of classic songs. "Police Truck" or "Killing in the Name of" anybody? Ugh!

The game has a Teen rating; no explicit lyrics will be in the base game.

What Alex said in the interview was that DLC can have different ESRB ratings, potentially allowing for songs with explicit lyrics in downloadable content.

Actually, no, I didn't. Behind a firewall. Was just going off of what OP posted.

Makes sense...not having explicit lyrics in the stock game, so kids wont get into trouble with their parents...so when you buy DLC, you are paying extra for songs with explicit lyrics. This is kinda FM/AM radio VS XM...they wont broadcast foul language on regular FM/AM radio, but on XM, since you pay for it, you get explicit language...k, now theres hope of having any Nine Inch Nails album on DLC.
