20 bucks ain't bad, is there a cheaper alternative to pads, without having to go through too much hastle?

Are they like the stick on foam pads? I tried some home made ones, and they work okay. I switched to rubber tipped drumsticks, though.

They work pretty well - but it doesn't stop the foot to floor vibrating :p

If they are anything like other felt/foam combos posted on these forums I would say hell no, they're bad. They buckle in the center and become useless and worse then when you didn't have the silencers. Gum rubber seem to be working the best for people. These (http://www.drumpadsinc.com/) are the same price and probably better.
