I don't think that this is an unreasonable request, by any means. I don't see why it should be reserved for expert mode.

A six star option for all difficulties would be great, especially for songs I couldn't dream of gold starring.
But maybe a different color for each difficulty, like the checks in BWT and the Endless Setlist icons. Inverted for easy, bronze for medium, and silver for hard. Eh? ._.;

I don't think this is good becuase then when you become that expert skill level player and you get your gold stars its exciting just gives you a happy feeling like you are really finally a master of this game. Having on easy would totally ruin their point

While I totally get what you're saying soratchet5g, I'm going to have to go with Bubblegum.

I different colored "gold" star would be a great addition. No matter what the level of difficulty reaching that high of a score is something to be rewarded, no?

We have talked about this at length in another thread. The basic feel is that gold stars are not here to reward mediocrity. No offense in the use of the term, but if you are on "medIUM" you are "mediOCRE" that's just the terminology. Your gold star reward for doing well on songs on medium? You get to move up to hard. On hard? You get to move up to expert.

There's no reason to reward mediocrity when you can push someone to go higher and be better.

I was overly harsh with my opinion in that particular thread, and realize that I come off as a dick, but hey, I have been called worse and agreed to it :p. I apologize for being so harsh, but I feel this is an issue we have overall in society these days, where we try so hard to give positive reinforcement, we go overboard to the point of encouraging mediocrity. Long story short, 5 stars are good enough for doing exceptionally well on anything short of expert.

I agree with bubblegum's add on a six star option would be nice and they could do it like BWT mode and have a different color for each difficulty.
