Not Another Arcade Fire Topic!

In the past I have stated that:

a) Arcade Fire are my favorite new band this decade and
b) None of their songs would work well in Rock Band

Of course, looking over Funeral and Neon Bible again, I realized the error of my ways. So here are some of my picks for AF in Rock Band:

Neighbourhood #2 (Laika) - Beautiful song with a great drum beat throughout. Also has a great bassline and vocals (naturally). The Guitar isnt much besides a few chords and clicks throughout the whole song, but that awesome *CRUNCH CRUNCH* of the guitar in the second half would be crazy fun to play.

Neighbourhood *3 (Power Out) - Now this one does have a very meaty guitar part. There is two mini solos and a good riff throughout and the constant *chika chika* of the rythmn guitar throughout is incredible. Good drums, though the bassline is very thin. The vocals are a standout though with the single greatest part of the song being "Whats the plaaaaaaaan?". Also it would be a cool little optional vocal part to sing, "we found the light!"

Wake Up - Amazing song all around. I havent listened to it in a while to check out the specifics, but I remember a really cool guitar riff in the beggining, but not much else on guitar.

Keep the Car Running - Great song, unfortunatley the bassline and guitar part stays the same the song, so that may be an issue

So I think the two neighbourhoods I mentioned would be the best choices. Such an incredible and weird band, I hope they make it in somehow.

I reaaaally like Arcade Fire a lot! Neighbourhood 1 and Rebellion (Lies) are my favourites so far, as well as In the Backseat.. But Rebellion won't work since it's piano, In the backseat has to many non guitar, non drum parts and is there even a bass (?) (but the final would be awesome, and the vocals are great too), so I would say, give me Neighbourhood 1 please. :D I think that song would work nice for Rockband too.

I hear this song on the radio all the time (Alternative AND classic rock stations), so this song might seem the most probable to use.

But I like Laika the most.

I#ve just listened to Laika (N#2) and Power Out (N#3) again, and actually, I really like them too. Argh, I guess any Arcade Fire song would be nice.

Really? I just watched the video on Youtube and they also play the guitar there. Besides, it sounds like guitar. Well, I would prefer the Neighbourhood songs anyway.
