The big question is, "why no online world tour?". Well,a lot of factors contribute to this. First, everyone in the band would have to be online and have time\be willing to play. It doesn't seem like a big deal unless the band members had busy lives. Second, band ownership and stat records. When you start a band it's linked to the gamertag, but now there's multiple tags. As far as recording stats, everything everyone does would have to be stored somewhere, whether that be the on users hard drive or rock band servers. Plus it would have to be synchronized with each member. Third, band members and positions. Lets say you joined the band on drums. In the local world tour your position is linking to character name and you cannot change that. In an online band that would be a problem. What if you didn't want to play that instrument? If you play locally (unless you're anal about it) you can get up and change with someone. That's out of the question with online so you're stuck. I'm sure there are other problems but thats the list i can come up with off the top of my head.

Here are a few solutions. As far as time\willingness to play,i have nothing. That's a personal issue. For band ownership and stats i say each gamertag should be responsible for it's own instrument and the stats that go along with that. Individual stats would be saved on the hard drive and then synchronized by the RB servers. As far as positions being linked to characters owned by each gamertag...my question is,why not get rid of that all together? Link the band, not position,by gamertag. That way there's more flexibility. Everytime the online world tour starts each person picks a character from their own list and plays the instrument linked to that character. Whether thats a before-every-song\setlist decision,or just at the beginning...that's not a big deal.

So i've shared my views on online world tour...any suggestions?
