I found that the LCD calibration is spot on for my HDTV and I was wondering what the actual audio/visual delay is in milliseconds so that I can adjust Guitar Hero to these same settings.

I know bumping your own threads is generally frowned upon but I waited over a week to do so. I'd really like the answer to this question.

Go to manually set for each option after you've already chosen the LCD settings, and you'll see what they defaulted to.

Actually I think you meant -85 15 (a big difference). That is if you have a ps3.
Here's what HMX has suggested as manual calibration values to revert to pre-patch:
360
AV Lag
-35 -20 CRT
-55 -10 PLASMA
-35 -20 LCD
-35 -40 Rear Projection
-80 -70 DLP
PS3
AV Lag
-35 5 CRT
-95 -20 PLASMA
-85 15 LCD
-35 -15 Rear Projection
-85 -55 DLP

I have LCD with surround sound, and put these settings in, and I am getting closer, but now I see the apparent lag is not there, so when I strum at the right time, it does light but but it is not scoring. Says I am getting 23% when I used to get 80% on an easy song like MAPS.
Very frustrating.

Hey there miller!
Here is what worked for me. I took the manual numbers and subtracted HMX numbers. So for LCD, I wound up with 5, 10. Meaning that the manual was 40, 30. If I'm not explaining that clearly, let me know!
I don't have surround sound tho. Give it a shot and see what you come up with. It may get you closer.
