Ok, I think what happened to that kid in China was terrible, but you can't blame Blizzard or World of Warcraft for it. That's would be like blaming beer companies for drunk driving or McDonalds for your fat ass.

They made a good game. They made a very popular game. It's the responsibility of the player to keep his/her gametime to a reasonable level.

I played and I have a wife and two kids. I was one of my guilds best healing Druids and I only played about an hour or so a night that weren't raids. When I did raid, I arranged it around my family time, or would have my son in my lap "helping" me play.

You can play with a family, you just have to be smart about it.

However, I did quit a few months ago...I was neglecting my motorcycle and missed a few track days....sooo.

Anyway, don't blame Blizzard...blame the bad parents.
