king diamond is always a good choice, maybe you could throw in some songs like "meet me at midnight", or "waking the demon" by bullet for my valentine
also you might can think about adding in "freak on a leash" by korn

dude, have you ever even heard the downstrokes on the intro to waking the demon? it kicks the **** out of most metal riffs out there! I mean, if you haven't heard the song you shouldn't judge it by what you've heard in the past.

They started off as a generic Nu-Metal band and are now a lackluster Thrash band, no me gusta.

ehh, once again you cant label them as thrash band, and yes i know they started as a nu-metal band known as "jeff killed john" but seriously dude they are a metalcore band thats all they are really trying to be...actually...why the **** do you think that they are lackluster? they have more energy behind them than most bands nowadays and besides...they only play to play not to make ****heads like you happy.

They were at an open air fiestival I was at once, there was no energy in their performance whatsoever and their vocalist was just like every other Nu-Metal vocalist in that he blows out his voice within the first two weeks. The music was lackluster and the show was boring and he screamed in between each song because he thought it was Metal, but it ended up being really silly and gimmicky.
At least I got to see Iron Maiden.

Dude I'm so glad somoeone agrees with me, King Diamond would be an awesome addition to Rock Band. Even some Mercyful Fate would be great, just anything with the King involved

****ing eh man. I would totally rock the vox on some King Diamond. AWESOME!! The "In the Fire" song on the roadrunner united sessions would be so sweet. Those of you who haven't heard the compilation I suggest you pick it up. It features a bunch of artists on Roadrunner records, past and present, all together making new original tracks. "In the Fire" features King Diamond on vox, Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu of Trivium on guitars, Mike D'Antonio of Killswitch Engage on bass, and Dave Chavarri on drums. Awesome track if you haven't heard it

I would gladly pay upwards of $20 for the entire Abigail album. I was never a huge King Diamond/Mercyful Fate fan, but I loved that album.

Abigail is great and would please a LOT of people, it's often considered his greatest work.

"Abigail" is probably my favorite King Diamond CD, but I also love "Them" and that'd make for some pretty solid DLC as well. Plus, King Diamond was probably the first band I hoped would be included in Rock Band back when HMX first announced they were working on it.
Still, I really wouldn't want any Bullet for My Valentine :(

Painkiller is an epic, Rammstein is just generic synth-rock, nothing more, they'd be nowhere near as big of a hit if they didn't sing in German.

what do you mean by painkiller being an "epic"?
I'd like to see HAnd of BLood by bfmv
