I was talking to a friend and it finally hit me.
I know why Harmonix is having all these problems.
It isn't their fault.

Think back to Harmonix + Red Octane games.
Did they ever fail to deliver?
No.
Did you have to wait years for it over in the EU?
No.

...It's EA.

My theory:
EA keeps the Harmonix developers in a cage, rarely feeds them, and forces them to use dial up.

My suggestion for how to fix this:
We'll need a crack team of people armed with pots, pans, guitars, and any other possible weapons around you.
We can break them out.

Funny story, a friend of mine had a problem with BF2's stats page. He reported it.
...They then cleared his stats, because he was allegedly knifing better than their test players were.
No joke.
He reported a problem, they cleared his stats.
It made me worry when I sent in my guitar for repairs.
