How hard would it be to develop a second kick pedal for the drum kit? Seems like basically what you'd have to do is put a female socket in the current pedal and aquire a second pedal (preferrably with a new "anchor" so you wouldn't have to put it right next to the other one) and plug it right in. Since the game recognized the electronic signal sent from the contacts in the first, a second contact that runs through the same cable would just register as another 'kick' on the pedal, thereby making it possible to do the sweet kick drum parts in any song very easy to do (relatively, anyway). Move over Lars! :D

If you go here: www.omegapedal.com you will find the twin rocker which allows you to hook up another pedal and have double bass pedals. I should be getting mine Monday (along with one of the omega pedals)!

it's pointless. know song warrants it's use, and any songs that it would need, the charts are incorrect

It's pointless but it would be fun! I hoping it will spice up my fills a bit.

Begin Disagreement:
1. And Justice for All: Small part in the middle where they put a sequence of eight 16th bass notes in there. Impossible to do with one rock band pedal.
2. Ride the Lightning: Huge part in the middle large section of eigth notes that is difficult to 100% on one pedal. I always liked using my homemade one to get past this song.
3. Blinded by Fear: Watch the you tube vid for this and tell me that some WOULDN't benefit by a second pedal.
To sum up, it's easy to make your own pedal with a 1/8th inch audio splitter and some random parts from Radio Shack and if it helps you, go for it.

Begin rebuttal of disagreement:
There is no part of AJFA that requires you to play 8 16th notes. 6? yes. But not 8. And not impossible to do with one pedal. If you'd said it was impossible to do with the stock plastic piece o' crap pedal, then sure, I'd probably agree with you...

Want to play it? Learn heel-toe. You don't need two pedals :)

I have hit this pattern in Blackened. It is up on my youtube videos. However I could never do it with plastic POS. Finally hit it with The Omega.

OK, some people can and some can't. That's just like the fact that some people can play well with the stock pedal and some prefer a real pedal.
The point is, who cares? My left foot isn't doing anything in RB, so why not give it something to do? I thought this was a game, to, you know, be enjoyed and screwed around with. Am I wrong?

Some bands just wouldn't be practical with a single bass pedal, like Fear Factory.

Something quite a few non-drummers don't realize is that having to control a fourth limb is harder than it would seem. Oftentimes if you have enough control to play it with two feet, you could play it with one. Unless you are rolling 16ths, but Rock Band doesn't make you do this.
You pretty much NEED a modded real kick pedal to play the faster stuff, since the stock plastic pedal, in all honesty, is awful. I would be far more interested in having a hi-hat pedal that turns the yellow pad into the blue pad while I press it. And having the yellow pad above and to the left of the snare.
