My Song list!.. :)

Hey.. I've played the Guitar Hero games and loved it, just like 1000 of other music lovers loved it.
Well... the Guitar Hero games was just filled with bad rock and metal junk... so I decided to come up with a song list that has some very known bands in it and songs that the most people know.. I really missed that in the Guitar Hero games.. many of the songs I didn't recognize.. We need some classic filthy ROCK! :D..
well, back to my song list.. my songs contains some classic bands with amazing musicians.


The Doors:

Michael Jackson:

"Beat It"

I know this might sound weird in your ears, but this song (Beat It) is so ****ing cool, and Michael Jackson must be one of the greatest song writers ever.. + this song has an awfully cool guitar solo!! and a nice riff too.. (Slash plays it often on live performances)
These MJ Songs would be great for singing and for playing the Guitar..

Red Hot Chili Peppers:

(And if you want a really cool number for the bass players out there, then "Around the World" would be amazing)

Well.. Guitar Hero 1 came up with a Red Hot Chili Peppers song.. I just got angry when I saw which it was.. "Higher Ground".. W000t?! Higher Ground!?.. Well okay.. It may be a okay funky song.. but come on.. (The bass riff is much cooler than the guitar riff).. Its not even their song! its just their own impression of the song!.. its like if you had the Jimi Hendrix song "Fire" and put it in as a Red Hot Chili Peppers song! please... Well here is some really great songs !!MADE BY!! The Red Hot Chili Peppers.. the great thing about The Red Hot Chili Peppers is, that they are all great musicians.. the Bassist "Flea" might be the best bassist in a band right now.. John Frusciante; one of the most skilled Guitarists I've ever experienced.. that's why you have to put one of these songs in "Rock Band" because it doesn't matter which instrument you play.. it will be fun and hard anyway. when that is said, I didn't know if "Under The Bridge" should go on the song list.. because.. it is mostly Guitar in that number.. but, that's not me to decide..

I think that?s about it..can't think of anymore right now...
I chose some songs that I haven?t seen in those other "My Set list" threads.. and I chose some songs I think are cool and would be fun to play :). I didn?t wanna write down other songs like "'Stairway To Heaven" or "Smells Like Teen Spirit" like so many others already did.. maybe because im not that much of a Nirvana fan..
I hope I will see some of the songs in the new game or just some downloadable versions.. That would be great!

I absolutely agree with you. There definitely needs to be some RHCP in Rock Band. If there isn't any on the disc, I hope that they'll consider releasing albums as DLC. Playing through Stadium Arcadium and Blood Sugar Sex Magik would be the coolest thing I've ever done in a video game.

They're obviously my favorite band, and when I play my drums, I try to get a little funky. Playing Chad's stuff would be awesome.

Michael Jackson: "Dirty Diana" - Haha, yes. I've been listening to some MJ trying to find some good songs that would work in RB, and that and "Beat It" were definitely on the list. And the "Beat It" solo rocks because its friggin Eddie Van Halen!

HeHe.. well, when i said "metal junk" i didnt mean that metal IS junk... I just think that the metal songs in GH (some of them) is junk :D..
sometimes it's pretty fun rocking out with some hard metal

but.. im very surpriced to see that im not the only one who thinks it could be cool playing Beat it or some other MJ songs :)

what is your opinion to the Beatles songs? if you dont know them, try download the songs on my list and listen to them..

well yes i knew that.. got all their cd's.. i just think we need some songs in "RockBand", that everybody know.. so when we start play it.. we will say.. "okay, this is RHCP" "this is Jimi Hendrix" "This is Metallica" and so on.. I want some classic rock-hits =)
many people.. when they hear a song like "Good Time Boys" i dont think their first guesse would be "Red Hot Chili Peppers"..

I love The Beatles, I really do. But I just don't see myself wanting to play any in Rock Band. Most of their songs are too simple and while they may be great songs, I thinkt hey'd be boring to play.

I mentioned this in another post, but I would much rather play some good covers. Aerosmith does a nasty cover of "Helter Skelter" that I'd kill to play. And Peter Frampton's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" has a real nice, long kick ass solo in it.

I guess I'd definitely buy some Beatles if they were available as DLC, especially the songs you listed, but I can't say that I'm really pushing for them though.

I must say that i thought the same as you to start with.. but in my opinion.. it doesnt really matter if the songs are easy to play.. that doesnt make them less fun to play.. but.. have you heard "Here Comes The Sun" i dont think the guitar riff would be easy to play in RockBand..
when i play Guitar Hero, i dont play the songs that is difficult, i play the songs that i like..!
and playing a Beatles number would be a pleasure :)

BH should absolutely be in here somehow, the only downs are, the bass lines are usually pretty static and he just wouldn't look right with a Fender. His custom Les Paul or King Vs only, right? As a playable character it'd be great if he could have one of HIS guitars.

After seeing him live, BH completely changed the way I thought about performing music.
