On my drum set, the yellow pad makes a weird vibrating noise when I hit it, along with the usual drum stick noise. It sounds like someone shoved a plastic bag under the drum pad, but after taking off the pad itself, and comparing the undersides to the other pads, I can't find out the problem.
Also, the Red and Blue pads don't register like they used to, but that might be because I'm using an EL drum kit.

It's because the drum kit was designed by morons. I bet if you pull that pad off you'll find that the screw holding the sensor to the pad has destroyed the molding, and that the tiny piece that broke off is now deep inside the drum rattling like a snare.
I've broken so many drum pads because they aren't designed to handle being drummed.
The whole rock band experience is becoming an ultra-****ty experience for me, with tons of game bugs, broken gear, and poor support.

i had the same problem...i fixed it tho... it when i took off the yellow pad i found that one of the little screws holding the sensor to the bottom of the drum pad was broken off and that wat was rattling around making that sound... i got the broken pice out and then got a very strong gule(Crazy,Gorillia, or any plastic apoxy) and glued the plastic pices back together...held it together for about 30 mins and let it ir dry for a lil while...so far i havent had any awkward sounds...its been about 2 weeks now since the fix... im sure its a matter of time tho till the glue goes...also dont play drum as often the guitar is played so that might be why its lasted... they do get the hell beaten out of them when we play tho

You ain't kidding.
I just got my 7th drum kit back from RMA today. Right out of the box, the only pad that doesn't drop 1 out of every 10 notes is the green one. Thanks a ****ing lot for sending me an already-broken set, EA. I really appreciate it.
