Yet, under GAME INFO... it says this...
40 tracks at launch! Rock Band will ship with 40 fearsome tracks from artists like Bon Jovi and The Ramones to Black Sabbath and Stone Temple Pilots.

it's either there's only 5 bonus songs or we're in store for 5 more songs than we planned. I guess this changes the song prediction game kind of.

Does this so called 45 songs include ingame bonus songs, or are there like...an uber amount of bonus songs too?

I'll tell you exactly what happened - we were going to have 40, but got some extra licenses approved late in the day, and we couldn't bear to kick out any of the songs we already had in the game to make room for them, so we bumped it up to 45. Our loss (in extra licensing fees we have to pay) is your gain!
There are totally not 40 bonus songs though, that would be ridiculous. If there's a screenshot that says there are 85 songs, it's probably because it was made on a machine that had lots of downloadable songs on it.

Yay.. my guess was right.
My follow-up guess to that is.. the fifteen song difference between easy and medium gives us a better clue towards how many bonus songs are in the game.

not really, it just gives us a larger margin for error. a bigger chance that you can get some of your guesses correct

No Ill keep it the same, people just get more chances. It will collapse if i start it over again.
