A question about the recent patch and calibration.

My XBOX 360 was out for repair when the patch came out and I just got it back yesterday (The music store is sweet! nice job HMX). During the time my system was out for repair, I replaced my drums. I went to play last night and I did horrible, I thought it was because I hadn't played in a while, but songs that were real easy for me to 5 star (like Buddy Holly and Seven) I couldn't do anymore. I need to figure out if it's my drums or lag. Here's my question.

When they changed the lag settings, did the defaults change to another value? I never calibrated my system, preset or otherwise, I just left it the way it was when I first played it. Should the settings still be the same if I never changed them, or did the patch adjust the defaults?

They should be the same... but try recalibrating anyway. It could help ;)

They definately did change the presets. If you want to click your heels and go back to Kansas, here's how to restore the old presets with manual configurations: (as posted by HMX here http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37422&page=42 )

They said that they felt the calibration for the game was broken out of the box. I would assume that means they changed the default config as well. Sskitzzo's video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbiDIWXP3aU also seems to indicate the numbers would change themselves too.
