Any hope of playing synth lines?

The synth tracks were my favorite to play, for the most part, in FreQ/Amp. Is there any chance that a song (even if it has to be a bonus) will have a synth part instead of, say, guitar - and the guitar peripheral could be used to play the synth track?

I know it's a long shot for this being a rock game, but might as well ask.
