New drums don't perform like my broken ones

I just received my third set of drums today and tested them out. Started off on slower type songs and they worked well--or so I thought. Next I try to play dont fear and completely blow the middle section when before I could get through it without a problem. For kicks I tried the drum roll in train kept a rollin' and the red was not registering any of my hits. Why won't my drums roll?

You probably used to have an EL and got a QM replacement. QMs are terrible with rolls. You can try the sock mod if you are desperate, otherwise I think the issue with the rolls on QMs have to do with the faulty sensors that come stock in them. I'd wait for some more testing before replacing your sensor, though, but look up the sock mod for now. It should help a bit.
