Logically, the more people like RB, the more it will be supported and promoted, meaning more DLC in the future, more bug fixes, new hardware revisions, and maybe additional base game content (DLC/patches for the game beyond just songs -- new outfits, venues, maybe even play modes -- but I'm just dreaming here).

Considering the amount of DLC we're supposed to see with RB, I'm content to just accept a track list I'm "mostly happy" with, and eagerly anticipate the plethora of DLC we've been promised. Nevermind and Who's Next will give me some solid new tracks to enjoy beyond the base disk, and with more to come...

Oh no, me being dissapointed doesnt mean Im not orgasming. Im effing stoked to play BHS, but that doesnt mean Im still a little lukewarm about the song choice. I just feel that theres not much going on on any instruments, while there are tons of SG songs that would have played better in the game. Dont get me wrong, its still one of my all time favorites, and probably my second favorite song in the game right now.

OK, just listened to each. Overall, good additions to the song list.

Detroit Rock City - pretty fun, I was surprised at how much I liked this song, not usually a fan of KISS.

Dani California - actually I think this is gonna be one of the most fun songs to play together, lots of changes to it, and a pretty good overall groove. Excited about this choice.

Black Hole Sun - ...really, eh...I can see how some people will like it, should be fun for the drums, but really wasn't too impressed...I remember that song being so much better back in the day...what happened? Oh well...not a total loss anyway...

Man I just don't understand how people can complain about every song announced. Just because you post stuff in a forum doesn't mean HMX is making Rock Band specifically for you. Like Sean said they are focusing on songs that are "Fun to play" not necessarily the most requested songs.

Plus, If you look at the pattern of DLC, with full albums and a "Greatest Hits" type Grateful Dead download. It is clear that most of the obscure or highly demanded songs\bands will be taken care of this way. I for one would rather see an entire TOOL album for DLC as opposed to one song on the game disc. So it might actually be better if your favorite band is only represented through DLC.

As for now they seem to be doing a great job of putting together a great base of songs to play on the game disc....That is all.

Well, In fairness they absolutely deserve a spot on the main setlist. I am just saying I would rather Play an album like AEnima front to back, But I certainly wouldn't complain about playing only Opiate(Yeah Right) or Sober(Possible) or AEnima(More Likely) or Any TOOL song for that matter.

But besides all that, I think Maynard is real picky about licensing his music out. Might be a tough sell if he is one of those "Plastic Guitar Haters" :rolleyes:

Which I really don't think he is. Or at least if he is, the band itself is not. There's a large TOOL thread on the Ultimate Set List forum that has, somewhere buried in it, a link, posted by me, to one of their newsletters that talked about them playing the original Guitar Hero during breaks from recording 10,000 Days.

Sweet Home would be very fun. I really don't kno why they picked that RHCP song I'm still confused, some guy recommended Around the World, which I think would have been great for all the instruments. They picked one of two songs I like from Soundgarden cool(I've tried but I'm not big on them).

Radiohead's Creep works for the instruments but it's not a song I like that much. GNR would work well except they already have GNR's only two good songs on GH(I'm not a fan of GNR). Van Halen, meh I always see VH stuff as better for GH cauz of Eddie Van Halen.

RATM ok? I find that the best crossover music it's the only stuff I can play where rap n rock fans will love it.
Hendrix stuff is all better for GH cept maybe Fire.

Audioslave is a great choice, very good idea.

LA Woman by the Doors would be good, they actually use bass in that one, other than that they would have to cover the bass from the organ to a bass guitar or something like that. But that would rock if they could put some Doors songs.

I for one would rather see an entire TOOL album for DLC as opposed to one song on the game disc. So it might actually be better if your favorite band is only represented through DLC.
