View Full Version : How can i tell which generation of the fender i have ???

So i have read that there are like 4 differnet generations ( I know the differences ) i have a feeling that i have got generation 4 because it feels mushy - I like it that way.

How can i tell which generation of guitar i have got '???

Open it up! "Mushy" is pretty much how all the strum bars are. I've had a generation 2, a generation 3, and I think a generation 4 (haven't opened it up).

As long as you don't open it up with a hammer or spill milk in it when you do, the odds of any warranty service not being honored are exceedingly slim. Don't be afraid to as long as you're careful, especially if it's just to peek.
