For those of you who don't listen to indie music, the Shins are easily the most influential indie band of all time and deserve a place in Rock Band.

not all of those songs are Rock Band-able, but they're all good. The Band has 3 albums and are very talented. They deserve representation in the game. I mean, hell, theres Emo music. Who likes Emo?

I like some of The Shins' music, and I think a lot of it could be interesting in the game. Especially some of the weird pitches in some of their songs. A 3-pack would do it for me.

Yes, Caring Is Creepy would definitely work as would most of their songs off of any of the three albums. I've noticed that Australia off of Wincing the Night Away is on Project Gotham Racing 4, so I know they can put it on Rock Band, and it would be an awesome song to play. The lack of Indie songs on the game is justice enough to add some Shins songs, and I'm sure it would create more Shins fans.

caring is creepy isn't mixed like a typical rb song (the guitar isn't always in the forefront) but it would be perfect for the game. i adore the bassline, and the vocals are hauntingly beautiful and a great challenge.

I love the Shins. St. Simon or Phantom Limb would be fun. However I do believe the OP slightly bent the truth when he claimed The Shins are the most influential indie band of all time. I don't want to get into a semantic argument because everyone's opinion of what is indie and what isn't is different. But you would have to exclude several bands with your definition to make the OP's statement true.

Turn A Square is my favorite Shins song. St.Simon would rock! I actually tried it on the freestyle drums the other day. I enjoy Sea Legs as well but its mostly beats and no guitar if I recall.

It's so beautiful
I play it expert guitar and do medium vocals at the same time. It feels so nice and relaxing.

I know there's a bad vibe towards GH here, but it's well well well worth it.

Yeah, I'd really like a new version of Saint Simon. The one we currently have is great, but it charts violin sections as guitar solos, which really annoys me, as the actual guitar solo isn't charted as such.

I was really hoping for a tie-in pack with the album. Seriously, if SHINEDOWN of all bands can get one, why not The Shins? The Shins' new album was way more anticipated than Shinedown's latest crapfest.

I also really hope we get a Shins pack since it's literally been a YEAR since we've had any indie DLC that wasn't through RBN.
