Im getting a little concerned now with all these new song announcements that there might not be any zeppelin in the game. I thought that finally someone making these guitar games got some sense and would put some zeppelin in the game. Come in the hives but on zeppelin.

QFT. I have a really good feeling about Zeppelin this time around, I don't know why, but I feel like Rock Band / MTV might have been the key in getting some songs from them.

Because they clearly never thought of trying to get the rights to Zepp before you made a post regarding it. I'm sure they're going to rush out and try to get the licenses to their songs now, and they haven't been trying to aquire rights for the last year.

Yeah, Led Zeppelin is a pretty obscure band. I doubt anyone at HMX has heard of them. Maybe this should be under the Setlist forum with the title "An Indie band I really like". Just remember, they might not be popular enough for HMX to bother with. < /sarcasm >

What exactly are you attempting to accomplish with this topic? It makes NO sense whatsoever.

Harmonix know who LZ are, know how much they're wanted and have, undoubtedly, attempted to get the rights. This topic is a waste of space and may only serve to add to any kind of alienation that HMX may be feeling.

Think about it this way, you're developing this game that is going to revolutionize rhythm games and is really your baby. The fans are initially super-excited about this and the possiblities it entails. You promise a lot of great things like continual DLC and intend on delivering them. You pick what is a rocking soundtrack that incorporates all genres and a tonne of well-known and well-thought-of bands. Then suddenly the bottom falls out and your fanbase starts to turn on you, complaining and nitpicking about the song selection. Wouldn't you be a little annoyed?

Stop all of this complaining and worthless *****ing about the songlist and who isn't included. Harmonix have undoubtedly thought of all of the huge bands and attempted to get them into the game. If they aren't there, it's not Harmonix's fault, there's no doubt in my mind that LZ and other huge bands are beyond expensive and may be unwilling to have their songs featured.

Yes, it is obvious. But its also obvious that you should just let it go. You are holding on to something that will always be an "issue". People are never going to stop posting in the wrong places or asking for something that is an obvious choice.
