for the love of god, all those that whine about the DLC each and every week, pick up a friggin newspaper and read about real problems. The world exists outside of your parent's basement!
p.s. On a side note, Holiday in Cambodia would be an amazing song for RB :D

I think most (and sadly I have to lump myself in here sometimes) would rather have the problem of crappy dlc than problems like forced labor, genocide, things like that.
Wait, to hell with this devil's advocate crap, I've liked all the DLC so why am I even bothering to defend the rights of people I don't agree with? :S
Also I'm with you man, HiC on RB has GOTTA be a better rendetion of the ****fest that GH3 produced... they totally butchered that song.
Personally though, I want Kill the Poor. I'd probably actually try to sing that one. :D

Pol pot?
.....polpot polpot polpot polpot?
Those things are totally unrelated, it’s like saying eat the food on your plate because there are children starving in Cambodia. Just because there are others starving doesn't mean that you aren’t full. We aren’t talking about people in Cambodia, we are talking about Rockband and its DLC.

Kill the Poor is vastly superior to Holiday in Cambodia.
but they're both good.

As long as it's not a crappy version like the GH3 one, I'd be happy.

Im also tired of those who keep Whining about GH3 charts....
GH3 is a good game. No its no longer the awesome series that it was when Harmonix had it but its still not a bad game. I liked Holiday in Cambodia in GH3.
Theres not liking a game and then theres just being a bitter douchebag about it and you go LOOKING for any problems jwith it just to complain about it. Chill out, its just a game
There's a good game, then there are games that are just so ****ed that you put the controller down and sigh.
For me, GH3 is one of these games. First of all, a lot of the charts are made unnecessarily difficult by the fact that there are notes on the charts for notes that either A) don't exist, or B) come from instruments OTHER than a lead guitar. It's this BS that made me hate Guitar Hero 3. Well, not hate. Just loathe.
And there are numerous other problems with GH3 than the note charts themselves. But this is not the thread for that.
That was one of the GH3 covers I didn't mind. I liked the cluster**** intro that slapped around people who were just getting their feet on Expert.

theres nothing wrong with charting instruments other than guitar when there is nothing for the guitarist to play.It kills boredom. Hell, Rock Band does it worse at times by not even passing it off as a guitar (ie Smokin's Solo, and the end of March of the Pigs and the Collector) And any little scretch or echo should be charted. Nothing wrong if its not (see the 1st note of when you were young in both RB and GH, Personally i think the GH version is right on that one)

Keep your real life problems to yourself and let me play my game in peace. If I cared about that garbage, I would come out of my parent's basement and read a newspaper.
Smokin' is probably the worst offender in this regard, and I am, therefore, not defending it.
I personally don't care if non-guitar instruments aren't charted to guitar during long outages. I did hear some guitar (hopelessly drowned out by the organ) in Smokin', but it wasn't always there. I am of the opinion that if you can pass it off, go for it.
As for the NIN songs... you can play the guitar like a piano, using your fingers as the hammers. But you're right, that was pretty wtf.
