Announcements for today are around 1pm EST. And it's still around 1pm EST. So I believe they'll be announced some time before 2pm EST.

That's the scheduled time, yes. In practice though, they very frequently run into these 'things outside of their control', and then the announcement gets delayed.

Funny thing is, we're not even late according to Apples' predicted time. 1 PM EST hasn't happened yet. You guys are thinking 1 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Savings Time)...It's nitpicky, but TECHNICALLY we have another 23 mins until 1 PM EST.
