Can I take songs that I've purchased, put them on a flash drive, and bring them over to a friends house to play them on his PS3? Thanks.

I haven't heard of a way of doing that and if there is one, I'd be interested to know.
Of course there's the "five downloads rule" that seems to allow you to download them directly to your friend's PS3 anyway. Be aware that it uses up one of your chances to re-downloaded them for various reasons: replacement PS3, patched songs etc. But you do apparently get five downloads for EACH of your purchased tracks.
I believe you'd have to create a profile on their PS3 complete with credit card details, download the tracks and then they're there for them permanently (on any profile). You should be able to delete your account details after doing that and have it still function perfectly.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this. There's all sorts of discussion out there about the validity, legailty and ethics of doing this but it does seem like this is semi-encouraged by Sony, at least by the way it appears to work.

However if you have to replace your PS3, say you used two dl's, one for you and one for your friend, if you have to replace your PS3, if you deactivate it you get that dl back, another word's you used two, you deactivate your PS3, now it's like you've only used one.
