Ever since the Guitar Hero series focused around classic rock bands, I've always said that they should make a "modern rock" edition. Don't get me wrong, the classics are great, but I'm getting pretty tired of them. I want to sing along and play to the songs that I listen to most, song that I absolutely love.

I'm not making a huge setlist here or anything, but I will suggest some bands that I would really like to see in Rock Band. Feel free to add your own modern rock bands to the list.

1. Breaking Benjamin: I cannot stress about how good this band is enough. I believe that they would be an awesome band to put in Rock Band. The vocals are stunning, the drums are always good, and the guitar is unbelievable. Songs like Away (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jALaulfWJfA), Simple Design (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jv_mNs4tFT8), Follow Me (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CeDeImahXyc), and Evil Angel (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=POjQgExXH6A) are all just some perfect examples. In fact, Inoticed that Rock Band has a "Albums (coming soon)" section in the Music Store; might as well put their albums in there XD.

2. Sixx A.M: Just the song Life is Beautiful (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MJDDxHIaaVk) would be good enough for me. Listen to it! It's amazing *drools*

3. Cold by Crossfade (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=n61Du5lhWio) sounds good to me :D

4. Meant to Live by Switchfoot. (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=72FkCoJfhgU) Remember this song? I sure do. Probably because it's awesome.

5. If you can put in "Flirtin' With Disaster" by Molly Hatchet, why not some Say Anything? I know they aren't your...normal type of band, but neither is Molly. The song Baseball, But Better (only video I could find) (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8d8WLO9p36o) seems good enough to me.

If I think of anymore, I'll be sure to add them. What about you guys? Breaking Benjamin FTW?

Edit: Oh, and I would just like to add that the above bands/songs are just my preference. I understand music is a touchy subject when it comes to certain people and whatnot. This is why I gave readers the option to post their own opinion on modern rock bands. And again, I'm not bashing the classics, I'm just tired of them now.
