Halo 3

Comes out in exactly in two weeks, and the wait is killing me, i dont know about everyone else but i've been waiting for this game ever since i beat halo 2 and the cliff hanger pissed me off so bad, but i'm glad that it's on the xbox 360 and i cant wait to try out all the new features and all the different characte customizations. The 4 player campaign is sure to be one of the coolest features.

I'm not the biggest Halo fan, I actually never really got into them. I am however getting Halo 3, and I love playing the multiplayer, so my friends and I are going to have a blast.

Well, I played the hell out of the previous two. Halo was a blast... Halo 2 was good, but just didn't have the same feeling... at the moment, I don't really have the urge to go out and get Halo 3 (eventually I will have to, to know what happens, but for now... I won't)...

Nah, halo is unlike any other shooter, i think the sales stats and xbox live stats speak on its behalf, it's a great awesome shooter

I have never been a big fan of Halo. I come from a PC-shooter background and Halo has been primarily console based.

However, I do respect that they put out a clean, bug-free product with an insanely huge and fanatical fan base.

I don't know, Halo had decent multiplayer but i never liked the story...Halo 2 was total ****...
Orange Box comes out like two weeks later and has TF2, so I'm gonna wait for that since I've been waiting something like 5 years for it and it looks ****ing awesome...

oh...and Half-Life has a better story by far...and honestly i prefer the multiplayer also...

yea, halo doesnt have the greatest story but it still has great gameplay, it's really easy to learn, accesible, and it doesn't hold back the more experienced players, i think its a great game, but half life 2 does look pretty cool too

Halo is an awesome game. It was my main introduction to FPS (yhyh I played GoldenEye and stuff but I was a bit young to really enjoy it) and took to many LANs (I was damn good). I drifted to Counter Strike, Half Life (not that brilliant - a bit overrated for my tastes, still good though) but Halo is the best console FPS. Hands down. Though you'll get better PC FPS I just prefer the comfort of a lovely sofa, your wireless controller and a GIANT screen. Not a small screen with a chair and an uncomfortable but excellent WASD+Mouse control. But hey - you may have giant computer screens. But the console experience is more laid back, less "noob" or "haxzors" calls, a lack of pressure to be in a clan, and general forgivingness.

But some of you may prefer the rough gaming.
