Well i check it everyday to see if anything is different which it never is except when it changed sunday which was awesome. But they havent even chnaged the songs or the tour pages yet. Maybe its because they are doing all that work on the tour they dont have time. At least i like to here new news from this site. So when will they put up new stuff? Im thinking maybe every friday through sunday sometime they will update the site.

They are usually fairly good and punctual with the news that comes out and updating the site to go along with it. It is most likely do to the fact that many people are out on tour and working on the game.
Also it might have to do with the new forums/website they were probably still working on it a bit, so it might take some time to get some updates up.

Know what's dissappointing to me?
We get our news about Rock Band from other websites. Not this one. Shouldn't we be the first to know? Instead of getting hints from sites like 1up and kotaku. Yes, Rockband.com does get updated, but after we already knew.

It's that way with just about all games. Developers/publishers give new, exclusive information out to certain news sites or magazines. The latest GTA IV trailer was exclusive to Yahoo before it was even available on Rockstar's own site.
I'd rather see this stuff on Rock Band's site first too, but that's just not the best way to get the word out to everyone who might not be looking at Rock Band's site yet. It's in the best interest of game publishers to keep media outlets happy, and giving exclusive tidbits to certain sites or magazines ensures that the site/magazine will always have news to post about games and that the readers will be informed about games they might not otherwise know about.

Exactly! The game sites like the aforementioned 1up and kotaku have a MUCH wider reach than just rockband.com does (sadly), and it's beneficial for both the media outlets and the game itself to have this "new information" spread out to gaming sites as "breaking news". It ensures readers' loyalty to the sites, which ensures the game publishers have a large audience at any given moment.
That, and well, press releases come from marketing, and marketing's a bit higher on the corporate totem pole than IT/web content devs. :/

yeah they should put most of the news on here instead of other sites telling us whats going on. I wish they would update the site with new news and videos of the tour at least like every 2 to 3 days.

Thank you two. I never understood why they did that. And now that I do, it makes much more sense.

...well, you know the saying... if it's on wikipedia, then it MUST be accurate.

well you know the saying...**** you its better than having a half complete setlist on the main site, and the songs on there have been confirmed on this forum
also you can check the song info thread in this forum section since it has all of the confirmed songs and some rumored songs/albums as well

i use wikipedia for rock band and guitar hero 3 since most of the information comes from actual sites with good info. But other times they can be lies that disappoint you.

Actually the Rock Band article is very closely monitored to keep the list confirmed songs only.
