In the past day or two I noticed the whammy bar has been a bit looser. I usually like to play with the tip of the whammy bar pointing slightly below the neck of the guitar, but now it will slowly droop toward the ground after 10 or 15 seconds, so it becomes an issue many times during a song. I'm not looking to RMA it if I don't have to because it's been really good so far, up/down strumming works fine and I've been happy with it. Is there anything I can tighten or replace to fix the problem? In case my post was confusing, the actual whammy bar spring action works fine, it's just the rotating part of it that's been giving me an issue.
