is there anybody good at tabbing out music? i can never seem to play along with something simply by ear, so if there's anybody that can tab a couple songs for me i would appreciate it. i can send you the songs through AIM or email.

Well, I can't tab for myself. But whenever I wanted to get tabs, I always go to Ultimate-Guitar.com

They have all the tabs you'll need.

Also, I suggest you get PowerTab. It's a free program they use at that site for some of their tabs. You can download PowerTab tabs and it will play your tabs to the song. It works perfectly.

you might want to check out 911tabs.com. It is really good. It is like a huge search engine for guitar, bass, drums, and piano.

yeah, dude i've checked all of those. ive been using powertabs for the past year, and i even resorted to 911tabs to find these, but i haven't had any luck, so i figured this was the best place to ask.

Powertab blows.. Get guitar Pro wh the realistic sound engine.. No MIDI sounds!

Yeah it costs money but.. It's a great program.

exactly it costs money. not everyone can shell out money for a program, though there are torrents for that kind of thing ....

I'm not the best tabber, but I can give it a shot. What songs/artists?

You can get a downloadable demo as well. Try it out first, if you like it, there are copies that don't necessarily need to be purchased.

The Failsafe(Misery Signals) just need bass for that one
Murder(HORSE The Band) just bass for this one too

Totally NOT considering doing this... :D

EDIT: How do I get something other than the Midi guitar? I thought someone said that's why PowerTab sucked, you could only get MIDI's

It's the fact that powertab uses general midi sound patches, whereas guitar pro has a wavetable-type synthesis that takes midi note triggers and creates a very accurate (comparatively) sound to match said note trigger. It's basically very fancy midi.
