Ok i figure we pay for songs through the store since thats the only place on the ps3 where you pay for things. But then i thought what if rock band has its own special thing were you buy them off of. So if anyone knows about this, since i havent seen an announcement about it, then thanks for your answers!

That's actually a good question, and what I'm mostly concerned about is how does one pay for songs when buying...
(people without creditcards cannot buy? like the normal Playstation Store currency problem... they better release those prepaid cards they promised to make)

My guess is through the game since Sony is lazy and only updates the store once a week wich could cause some problems or maybe we'll be able to buy them through home.

How does it cause problems just because the Store gets updated once a week doesn't mean it has to remain that way, i'm sure once HMX send the DLC to Sony on a weekly basis it will be added as soon as they get it so we would see Rock band DLC one day and the general store update on the usual day.. and even if the DLC is added on the day the store gets updated what difference does it make the DLC is only once a week just like the store is you wont be missing anything.

or they could have an online option within the game to purchase DLC. im not much of a gamer so i dont know how many other ps3 games incorporate this, but resistance has the DLC map pack option within the game. or you can buy it through the ps store.

and as for those without a credit card, i heard of minors buying those prepaid visa cards from grocery stores. you basically put x amount of cash on the card and it has unique numbers acting like a credit/debit card.

The 360 uses the marketplace, PS3 will use the PSN. For GHII you can use the downloadable content link in-game or download the songs from the marketplace before booting the game. PS3 will most likely have the songs on the Store for you to download. Then you boot the game and there they are.
