Just A Simple Question...

Is it possible to change your band's name at all? I know you can change your character's names as many times as you like, but I've never seen an option to change your band name. The reason I'm asking is because, when I first got the game, I was so anxious to tear into BWT that I just used one of HMX's pre-made names, but now that the months have gone by, I've realized that The Inverted Monkeys just...doesn't catch on anymore. That, and everytime I log on, I get an annoying message saying "The Inverted Monkeys has already been taken as a band name and will not be used to identify your band on Xbox Live." So is there a way to change it, or am I just gonna have to start over again?

By the way, I'm totally okay with starting BWT from scratch, it's endless fun for me. Just not until I find a friend to tear through the Endless Setlist with me first...

Go to the profile bit on the screen where you choose to tour or go to the rock shop etc. And i'm pretty certain its in there along with adding a quote. I know I've changed my bands name before. As I wanted to call them "The Rise and Fall Of The Once Great Jedi Republic" and it wouldn't fit so i got " The Rise and Fall" which I didn't like so I changed it to Ominious Walrus.

Yeah there is a way to change band names. On the band world tour menu (where its says play gig, rock shop etc.) there is an option that says band info or profile or something like that i'm sorry i cant really remember. Anyway when you select that it should open a screen that has and option for band quote, an option band logo, your bands highest scoring songs, and band members. It also says band name on the screen you just select that and it should bring up a keyboard to make a new band name.

yeah, theres a way to change it...its under...sigh...i forget where, i just know my band was Dugg, then it was some explicitave that would get me banned here, and now its 2 grl 1 Cup FTW!

Well, that makes sense. I never even bothered with the Band Profile settings, which would explain why I never saw it...thanks everyone.

Now I just need to come up with a band name. Currently searching my mp3 player for some song to name it after, it's a three-way tie between The Baker Street Bandits (After Baker Street of course), Gravity's Rainbow (After a song by Klaxons), and The Drug Scouts Of America (After a lyric from a song on The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack).
