This is absolutly no joke. When I hit the bass pedal once, not only does it respond once, it responds about 10 times, a.k.a extreme double bass! Has anybody ever had this happen to them? If so, how did you fix it if you managed to? Now, I speak directly to you Harmonix. This is potentially the second faulty bass pedal we've had, I shouldn't have had ONE faulty bass pedal in the first place, I also shouldn't have had a faulty guitar, but that's in the other thread I made, just kidding!

For those of you who hate spending more than 3 seconds reading a post, I would like some help from those who might know what i'm talking about, if there are any.

In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is He who commands you! It is He who flung you from the gates of Heaven to the depths of Hell!
Be gone... from this pedal of bass!
Be gone! In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirt!

...What do I win?

I actually draw the line at cleansing Stratocasters. You'll need to find someone else to help you on this one.

I just don't understand. One song it was working and the next it wasn't

Just replace it, sounds like something's a little loose and may be causing the magnet that causes the bass hit to oscillate rapidly.

I got really frustrated at the stock pedal in about a week (since I used to play real drums), and I modded an old pedal with a window alarm and I have been happy since.

Short answer: I have no idea about pedal malfunctions, but just go ahead and RMA it so you can keep playing.
