After reading the excuses for releasing Rock Band in Europe, not only nearly a year later than in the US for Playstation 3 (3 months before for the 360), all I see is that now I'm even MORE sure that it's a RIP OFF!

In the US the price for the bundle is $170. That is 107€.

Then why the hell is the release price in Europe going to be 240€????????? MORE THAN DOUBLE.

And don't say that the transport, etc, makes the price go up so much because many people have imported it from the US for a price of 170€ with transport included. 240€ is the price of the XBox 360. Why would people want to pay that for just one game, even if it is Rock Band.

Anyway, after knowing your rip off prices, I have decided to import it, and guess how much I am going to pay???? 141€! Yes, 100€ less than what the price will be in Europe. And that is including transport.

I hope that when you release it in Europe, that the games will just be left on the shelves, to show you that you can't rip off people in Europe, just because of being from Europe. This is pathetic.:mad::mad::mad:

It's all about financial stability of countries and taxes. The UK hasn't been known as "Rip off Britain" for years for no reason. Not just for games, but cars and everything else.

Importing can be a good option, especially when the US economy is so low. BUT, pray that customs don't open your package, otherwise you're going to be hit with import tax and all kinds of other fees :)

Last time I imported a game, it was Star Wars Galaxies, it ended up costing me close to £170 due to all the hidden fees. The original game price was $60

I know what the price is to pay if the game is stopped at customs (I wouldn't be the first, believe me), and if that happens, it is only 30€, making the price of the bundle 170. Still 70€ cheaper than buying in Europe (and also having to wait till August, another thing I don't understand. I suppose Microsoft has bought the company a few lovely cars and given a few cases full of $$$$$)

Complain to EA, not Harmonix.

Yes, the price to get everything for Rock Band is way too expensive. Guess what? You can wait for a price drop or spend money on the exact thing you're complaining about. It's not Harmonix's fault.

We know you're new here but you clearly didn't take the time to check the myriad threads related to this topic. One about pricing can be found in announcements. You can also direct your ire toward the official UK thread in Community Hits.

Please feel free to do either of the above. If not, GTFO.
