It would be a grevious sin to leave out what was arguably the Best Grunge Band, best Band in the 90's. The had a ton of hits, the vocals are incredible, awesome solos, technical guitar, intense drumming.
Staley, Cantrell, Starr/Inez, Kinney = Some of the best.
Also, better add some Silverchair

I was just listening to 'River of Deceit' tonight and thought is would be a great song for the game. But old Silverchair. I don't like the new songs. Maybe 'The Door' or Abuse Me'.

while i wouldn't go as far as saying the best band of the 90s, i'd say they're a good band and i would like to see em in this game

Plus the term grunge is a marketing farce.
As for Seattle bands, I still think, in the end, Pearl jam did more. I mean...they are still doing it.
Also, as for best 90s band...Id suggest that whoever says that needs to get out more.
I also wanna know why you mention Mad Season in the title, but then get out of AIC to talk about Silverchair. Werent you gonna talk about Mad Season?

Well Mad Season too, I kind of group their amazingness into Alice in Chains thinking. Kindof wrong I guess since only Staley was from AIC.
So yeah MAD SEASON TOO, when you talk about bands like AIC, Pearl Jam and Seattle 90s bands Mad Season is 'the' supergroup'.
River of Deceit, and November Hotel.
Xray Mind would be fantastic, except for the long voice/drums only. But then there is the long guitar solos/intense drum parts.
Wake up would be awesome for the drummer and guitar, voice too, not sure about the bass.
Lifeless Dead would be cool, lots of power there.
in conclusion, WE WANT MAD SEASON

Man in the Box hopefully.
Of course Pearl Jam is still doing it,their lead singer isn't dead or mad at the rest of the band. :(

Well, yeah, but I also meant it in another way. Pearl Jam is hands down the best of the big four Seattle bands. Because in the end, they are the ones that have delivered more. Sure, their latest album isnt on the top charts like Nirvana's, but thats because the Seattle band craze is over. Pearl Jam is has done nothing but throw out amazing music in the 2000s; although thats just two albums.

Great stuff from Mad Season! The entire album needs to be available as DLC. "November Hotel" would be sick!
