To make a character and you get that character to play drums. Then you want to play lead guitar with that same character. Can you change which instrument they play or do you assign it to them when you create them?

I'm sure you can change what instrument they play.

Pretty sure you can have a character play any instrument.

Unless it's your Drum Campaign, for obvious reasons you couldn't switch instruments mid-campaign.

For everything else though, from what we've seen, you pick your instrument and THEN scroll through a list of all the characters created on your console.

Nope. The Set Lists are in a different order so it would make that impossible.
