Help Me Find a Mic Stand

Where can I find the best deal on a mic stand. I'm interested in something I can use playing guitar and drums.

Does a regular stand work well with the drums? Or do I need an articulating mic stand for that?

i concur ebay.

no matter what, do not try ducttaping the mic wire to the top of ur head. It does work well. Even worse idea is using the 360 headset mic

If there's a good craigslist community in your area, that could be a great way to get a cheap mic stand. If you want to go Phil Collins style, I'd go for a stand with an articulation point in the middle. If you're getting a used one, just make sure that that articulation point still tightens up ok (they get loose over time). Also I personally prefer stands with a weighted disk on the bottom rather than a tripod stand, but that's just me.
